| Tell deviantART about yourself. Now that's probably the hardest thing to do - talking about yourself. Hmm. Let's start from the beginning, shall we? I joined the deviantART community over 6 years ago under the nickname ~miloszwl. I must admit, it was a great fun for the time being. Having high pageviews and commission flowing in and out can really stroke your ego. I was quite popular with my seal friends. Hah. But then suddenly came this day - I was tired of people ( and myself ) limiting me, making me design things they like. When I look back, I believe it was the best moment to start anew. That’s how yumekon was born. I’ve always been interested in computers and graphics of all kinds. My first baby steps towards cg were taken using the superb Deluxe Paint for Amiga ( CDTV was my fav ). Oh boy, these were great times of playing games, animating, watching crazy demoscene stuff and listening to modules. I never thought of working as a pro cg artist though. Until the very last moment I’ve been studying math and physics while spending nights in front of my computer designing some weird vector art and drawing meaningless stuff in my cold sketchbook. However, as I was winning more and more design contests I started to believe that my art could be really something if only I was able to devote more time to it. dA was of great help here. I remember I learnt about it through the penguin mail and some gossips flowing from the camp of polar bears. Here, on dA, I’ve met dozens of passionate people willing to share constructive critiques with me. For a better or worse, I see that dA has changed a lot since that day. As I was in my late teens, I decided to trust my instincts ( instead of my mind or pocket as some people say) and I started studying art for real. It was a real shock to everybody because of the timing although I cannot say it was unexpected :] Currently, my main fields of interest are anything 3d ( especially animation ) and of course both digital&traditional painting, drawing. It may be a bit of surprise since you won’t find any 3d art in my gallery but I believe when the right time comes, I will publish some of my junk here - on dA. Recently, I’ve been working hard to finish my first not-so-short-but-still-not-feature-long movie inspired by the japanese fantasy / sci-fi flicks so I am kind of slow to update my gallery. Nevertheless, I hope you will have a great time watching it. Thanks for reading and may the God of ice bless you. PS It's really cold here in Antarctica so if anybody is willing to donate some matches or fire sticks, I would be more than grateful. Please contact me via the note system so I can send you the exact gps coordinates #END OF TRANSMISSION |
